Treating the why, not just the breakout
Acne has different drivers: congestion, inflammation, hormones, products and habits. Tacha starts by understanding what’s behind your breakouts, then builds a plan that treats your skin in the chair and at home.
In deeper skin tones, breakouts often leave dark marks behind. Your plan treats both, so clearer skin doesn’t come with lingering spots.
Tools your plan may include
Chemical peels
To exfoliate and help keep pores clear. See peels.
Aerolase
A gentle laser often used for active acne. See Aerolase.
Facials and extractions
A HydraFacial or back facial for congestion.
Homecare
Ingredients Tacha loves for acne and pigment, like azelaic acid.
Acne programs
Two ways to start:
Is it right for you?
A good fit if
- You break out regularly on your face or back
- You have clogged pores and congestion
- You have dark marks left after breakouts
- You’re ready to follow a homecare routine
Wait or ask first if
- Your acne is very painful, cystic or widespread. A dermatologist may also need to be involved
- You’ve recently taken isotretinoin (Accutane). Tell Tacha before booking
- You’re pregnant or breastfeeding. Many treatments are postponed, so ask first.
Habits that help
- Stay consistent with your homecare routine.
- Don’t pick or squeeze breakouts.
- Change pillowcases often and wipe down your phone.
- Wear SPF daily so acne marks can fade.
What affects the cost
- A custom treatment or the Acne Program
- How many in-office sessions you need
- The homecare products in your routine
Your exact price is confirmed at your consultation. PatientFi financing is available for eligible clients.
Acne Treatment questions.
What is the Acne Program?
The Acne Program is Tacha’s 2 to 6 month program for stubborn breakouts. It starts with an in-depth consultation and a personalized treatment plan, with follow-ups every 2 to 3 weeks in person or virtually, then a post-maintenance program to keep your skin on track.
Can an esthetician help with hormonal acne?
An esthetician can treat the skin side of hormonal acne, like congestion, inflammation and dark marks. For persistent or cystic acne, a dermatologist or doctor may also be part of your plan.
How long until I see results?
Many people notice changes within weeks when they stay consistent with homecare. Stubborn acne usually needs a series of treatments.
I’m taking or recently took isotretinoin (Accutane). Can I get treated?
Tell Tacha before booking. Many treatments need to wait until your skin has recovered and you’ve been cleared.
How much does acne treatment cost in Atlanta?
It depends on your plan and whether you choose a custom treatment or the Acne Program. Pricing is confirmed at your consultation, and PatientFi financing is available.
Does Tacha treat acne on deeper skin tones?
Yes. Tacha treats Fitzpatrick types I–VI and plans acne treatment to avoid leaving dark marks behind.
What’s the difference between acne marks and acne scars?
Marks are flat and dark. Scars change your skin’s texture. See acne scar treatment.
