What is SkinPen microneedling?

SkinPen is an FDA-cleared microneedling device. It creates thousands of tiny channels in the skin, which kick-starts repair and collagen production and helps serums reach deeper layers.

Because microneedling doesn’t rely on heat or light, it’s often considered a good option for deeper skin tones that are prone to dark marks.

SkinPen Microneedling questions.

What’s the difference between PRP and PDRN microneedling?

PRP uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood. PDRN is a DNA-based ingredient, often called salmon DNA, used to support repair. Tacha helps you choose at your consultation.

Is microneedling safe for Black skin?

Microneedling is often considered a good fit for deeper skin tones because it doesn’t use heat or light. Tacha still plans depth and aftercare around your skin.

How many microneedling sessions do I need for acne scars?

Scarring usually needs a series of sessions spaced weeks apart. Your plan depends on the type and depth of your scars.

What is the downtime after microneedling?

Most people have redness and tightness for a day or two. Your skin may feel dry or flake slightly as it heals.

How much does microneedling cost in Atlanta?

SkinPen microneedling starts at $350 for the face. It depends on the area and add-on you choose, and it’s confirmed at your consultation. PatientFi financing is available for eligible clients.

Is SkinPen microneedling painful?

A numbing cream is applied first, so most people feel pressure and light scratching rather than pain.

How often can I get microneedling?

Sessions are usually spaced several weeks apart to give your skin time to rebuild. Tacha sets your schedule.
